Job summary

360HR Solutions & Recruitment in Unanderra is seeking a motivated Draftsperson to join the Design Services team. You will develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings, and prepare fabrication and construction drawings under guidance from senior engineers.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, apply Australian design standards, and contribute to design reviews. The role offers collaboration across disciplines and ongoing development of drafting capabilities on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Drafting or studying towards.
• Experience as a Draftsperson or in drafting roles.
• Proficient with 2D and 3D modelling.
• Familiarity with Australian design and drawing standards.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Developing 3D models and producing detailed 2D mechanical drawings.
• Preparing fabrication and construction drawings.
• Producing general arrangements and detailed drawings per engineering intent.
• Assisting with engineering calculations under guidance of project engineers.
• Applying relevant industry standards and project specifications.
• Participating in design reviews and supporting project delivery.
• Collaborating with engineers and other design disciplines.
• Producing accurate, high‑quality technical documentation and maintaining document control.
