Job summary

M & Q Equipment Pty Ltd, a family-owned business in Richlands, Queensland, is seeking a highly motivated Draftsman to join our team. The role requires 2–3 years of experience with Autodesk Inventor and 3D surface modelling, and familiarity with part, component and fabrication drawings.

A mechanical background and good Excel skills are essential for timely project delivery. Experience with reverse engineering and 3D laser scanning is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in Inventor and 3D & Surface Modelling.
• Experience with Part Drawings, Component Drawings and Fabrication Drawings.
• Mechanical background knowledge required.
• Understanding of fine tolerances and bearing fits expected.
• Experience in reverse engineering.
• 3D Laser Scanning experience helpful (not essential).
• Good time management to meet deadlines.
• Good computer skills in Excel.
• Self-motivated, friendly, social, communicates well and works in a high performance team.

M & Q Equipment Pty Ltd is a family owned business located in Richlands. We sell new and used mining quarrying and mineral processing equipment and specialise in Slurry Pumps. We are seeking a highly motivated Draftsman to join our team.

• Must have minimum 2-3 years experience in Inventor and 3D & Surface Modelling
• Must have experience in Part Drawings, Component Drawings and Fabrication Drawing
• Mechanical background knowledge
• Experience / understanding in fine tolerances and bearing fits
• Experience in reverse engineering
• Experience in 3D Laser Scanning Equipment (not essential but helpful)
• Good time managements skills to meet deadlines
• Good computer skills in Excel
• Self-motivated, friendly, social, communicates well and enjoys being part of a high performance team
