Job summary

Black Dog Institute is seeking a customer‑facing Donor Relations role to support donor and fundraiser experiences across multiple channels. You will handle enquiries, maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge/NXT, and assist with fundraising campaigns and financial reconciliation.

The role emphasizes accurate data processing, proactive outreach, and collaboration with the fundraising team. The position offers hybrid work arrangements, 35‑hour weeks, and benefits including salary packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in donor/fundraiser services or member care environments.
• Accurate data entry and CRM experience (Raiser’s Edge/NXT).
• Ability to manage inquiries across phone, email, social and mail channels.
• Experience processing donations and reconciling payments (credit cards, EFT, direct debits).
• Knowledge of social media moderation and digital fundraising channels.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor and fundraiser inquiries across multiple channels with timely, courteous support.
• Maintain accurate donor records and track interactions in the CRM.
• Support fundraising campaigns and deliver high‑quality donor experiences.
• Process donations, receipts, and monthly reconciliations with finance team.
• Engage supporters with proactive outreach to drive retention and growth.
• Contribute to improvement of processes and data quality.
