Job summary

Achieve Australia’s Sewing Basket in Kincumber is seeking a Fabric Sorter to support donation intake, sorting, packaging and dispatch for our inclusive warehouse and shop. The role offers full-time hours with flexibility for part-time arrangements to suit operational needs.

You will work with volunteers and staff, helping maintain safe, tidy spaces and delivering friendly, helpful service to customers while supporting people with disability in our community.

Qualifications

• First Aid Certificate
• NDIS Worker Check
• Working with Children Check
• Basic computer skills
• POS experience
• Able to lift up to 15kg
• Inclusive and supportive when working with diverse abilities

Responsibilities

• Sort, package, and dispatch donated goods with care and efficiency.
• Build positive relationships with staff and volunteers to keep warehouse and shop running smoothly.
• Maintain tidy, safe working areas following policies and procedures.
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with daily task assignments (sorting, stocking, customer care).
• Receive and prep donations, including transfers to the Kincumber hub.
• Coordinate with store leads to ensure stock flow and well‑stocked shelves.
• Create a welcoming shopper experience through friendly service and attention to detail
