Job summary

UnitingCare Lifeline is seeking a sorter at the Ipswich Distribution Centre. You will sort and process donated goods, pick orders, and maintain clean work areas to support Lifeline’s charitable retail network and crisis services.

The role involves repetitive warehouse tasks in a climate-controlled environment, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork across volunteers and staff. Availability Monday to Friday is required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and categorize a large volume of donated goods; discard unsaleable items.
• Pick and process orders.
• Maintain clean and tidy work stations and storage areas; move stock and rubbish to allocated areas.
• Ensure all paperwork related to the role is completed accurately daily.
