Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking a Domestic Support Worker - Cleaner in Stafford, QLD, on a permanent part-time basis. You will clean, launder, assist with meals and provide social support to clients across North Brisbane, with no weekend work and Mon-Fri availability preferred.

Requirements include a current driver licence with vehicle, and a National Police Certificate or NDIS clearance. A Cert II/III in Cleaning Operations is valued but not mandatory.

• Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) is highly regarded but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform domestic cleaning and housekeeping tasks as per Anglicare standards.

Domestic Support Services Worker - Cleaner

Anglicare Southern Queensland – Stafford QLD

Our Stafford Home and Community service is seeking Domestic Support Workers - Cleaners on a permanent part-time basis. Pay rates starts from $32.65 - $37.32/hr.

This is a vital role within our community services and is an excellent starting position for a career in Aged Care or Community Services. We are looking for motivated people to provide invaluable domestic assistance to our clients around their homes with general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support.

This role will service across North Brisbane eg Windsor through to North Lakes.

We are seeking at least 3 days availability throughout the week (no weekend work!) withn Mon-Fri availability being highly desirable.

About the role:

• Ensure cleaning and other service standards outlined by Anglicare are met
• Ensure duties are completed within the expected timeframe
• Use equipment as instructed to minimise risk of injury, and follow all manual handling and safe driving practices, in accordance with procedures and training
• The physical demands of this role may include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.

Requirements:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate OR NDIS Clearance
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required
