Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is hiring Part-time Service Support Workers to provide cleaning support to clients in their homes across the Sunshine Coast region. Travel includes Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Tewantin, Sunshine Beach and surrounding areas.

A Certificate II/III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) is highly regarded but not required. Successful applicants will hold a current Driver Licence with a reliable vehicle, a National Police Certificate, and be willing to complete tetanus

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning.
• Comfortable using housekeeping equipment.
• Able to follow domestic care plans.
• Clear communicator with clients and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with the elderly.
• Physical demands: standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching.
• Current Driver Licence and own reliable vehicle.
• National Police Certificate.
• Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning support to clients in their homes.
• Travel to service areas across the Sunshine Coast region (suburbs listed).
• Follow domestic care plans and maintain professional boundaries.
• Communicate clearly with clients and families.
• Work independently to assist primarily elderly clients.
• Support additional tasks as required by the program.

About the Role:

We currently have Part-time Service Support Worker positions available to service clients across the Sunshine Coast region. Our workers provide invaluable support by providing cleaning support to our clients in their homes.

Some suburbs of travel required in this role:

• Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Tewantin, Sunshine Beach, East Deep Creek, Cooloola Cove, Kin Kin, Boreen Point

About You:

We are looking for applicants that have:

• Experience in cleaning
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly

The physical demands of this role will include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.
