Job summary

Warrigal is looking for compassionate carers to help older people live safely and comfortably at home. You will perform domestic tasks from cleaning and laundry to meal prep and shopping, all while delivering high-quality, respectful support.

These casual roles cover the Southern Highlands region. You will work independently and as part of a team, with training and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid certificate.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Reliable car with comprehensive car insurance.
• Empathy and commitment to the care of older people.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and written skills.
• Understanding of VVHS Responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
• Committed to workplace equity.

• Deliver a range of domestic assistance services to support older people in their home.

You will support older people to remain safe,independent and comfortable in their own homes by delivering arange of domestic assistance services.
Working across our Home Services team, you will assist customerswith everyday household tasks that contribute directly to theirwellbeing, comfort and quality of life.
From cleaning, vacuumingand laundry to meal preparation, shopping and general householdsupport, your work will help create clean, safe and welcoming homeenvironments.
You will work independently while also being part of a supportiveteam, building positive relationships with customers and ensuringservices are delivered safely, professionally and in line withindividual care plans.
Through your commitment to quality serviceand compassionate support, you will make a meaningful difference inthe lives of older people throughout the community.
