Warrigal Care in Moss Vale delivers in-home care to help older people stay safe, independent and connected in their own homes. You will provide person-centred support across the Home Services team, following individual care plans to maintain wellbeing and quality of life.

Your role covers personal care, domestic assistance, meal prep, shopping support, transport and social activities, while monitoring wellbeing and building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is required.
• Current First Aid certificate is required.
• Current Drivers Licence with reliable car and comprehensive insurance.
• Empathy and commitment to the care of older people.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and written skills.
• Satisfactory police check and right to work in Australia.

The opportunity | Valued for the impact you make

You will support older people to remain safe, independent and connected in their own homes by delivering a range of in-home care and support services. Working across our Home Services team, you will provide person-centred support in accordance with individual care plans, helping customers maintain their wellbeing, independence and quality of life.

Your role will include personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, shopping support, transport assistance and social support activities. You will monitor customer wellbeing, build positive relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customers receive safe, high-quality care. Through your compassion, professionalism and commitment to service excellence, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people throughout the Moss Vale community.

The requirements | What it takes to do this work

• Hold a Certificate Ill in Aged Care or Individual Support in Ageing
• Current First Aid certificate
• Current Drivers Licence
• Reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
• Empathy and commitment to the care of older people
• Demonstrated interpersonal and written skills
• Understanding of VVHS Responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervisedCommitted to workplace equity

• Previous aged/disability care experience
