Job summary

Suncare Community Services Ltd is seeking Permanent Part-Time Domestic Assistants to provide in-home support across Alexandra Headland and surrounding areas. You’ll help with daily tasks, light cleaning, meal prep, shopping, and companionship, delivering care with warmth and respect.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, have a current Australian Driver's Licence and a vehicle, and hold First Aid, CPR, and a National Criminal History Check.

Qualifications

• Must have compassion, reliability and respect in daily care tasks.
• Need a current Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle.
• First Aid, CPR and a National Criminal History Check are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home support including daily tasks and companionship.
• Assist with laundry, cleaning, meal preparation and shopping.
• Offer a warm, respectful presence and help clients stay independent.

What you will be doing

OurDomestic Assistantsput heart into everything they do - no two days look the same, but each one makes a difference.

We are offering a Permanent Part-Time opportunity (40 hours per fortnight) with a consistent roster. Let us know your availability and preferred working hours, and we’ll work with you to establish a set schedule. Our ideal roster is Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 2:00pm. You’ll enjoy getting out into the community, providing in-home support to clients throughout Alexandra Headland, Cotton Tree, Kuluin, Kunda Park, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Mountain Creek.

The little things you do can make a big difference. Your day might include:

• Helping keep someone's home feeling comfortable, whether that's tackling the laundry, cleaning the kitchen, or freshening up the bathroom.
• Lending a hand with everyday tasks like preparing simple meals, making beds, ironing, or shopping.
• Sitting down for a cuppa and a chat, because sometimes company can mean just as much as practical help.
• Being a familiar face who helps make each day a little easier and a little brighter.

You'll thrive in this role if you:
