Job summary

Suncare Community Services Ltd is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Domestic Assistant to support older Australians in the Caboolture region. You will assist with in-home care, light housekeeping, meal prep and mobility support, following care plans and keeping clients safe and comfortable in their own homes.

You'll work a consistent roster (40 hours per fortnight) with opportunities to learn, grow and be part of a supportive team that values kindness, respect and community connection.

Qualifications

• Must have Australian Driver's Licence.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• National Criminal History Check required.
• Experience providing in-home domestic assistance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care and support to clients in the Caboolture region.
• Assist with daily living activities and household tasks.
• Support clients to maintain independence and wellbeing at home.
• Follow care plans and document care provided.

What you will be doing

OurDomestic Assistantsput heart into everything they do - no two days look the same, but each one makes a difference.

We are offering a Permanent Part-Time opportunity (40 hours per fortnight) with a consistent roster. Let us know your availability and preferred working hours, and we’ll work with you to establish a set schedule. Our ideal roster is Monday - Wednesday, 8:00am-2:00pm + Thursday, 8:00am-11:30am.

You’ll enjoy getting out into the community, providing in‑home support to clients across the Caboolture region and surrounding communities. Servicing areas including Caboolture, Bellmere, Elimbah, Morayfield, Woodford, Kilcoy and neighbouring areas, you’ll play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence and wellbeing while living in their own homes.

The little things you do can make a big difference. Your day might include:

• Helping keep someone’s home feeling comfortable, whether that’s tackling the laundry, cleaning the kitchen, or freshening up the bathroom.
• Lending a hand with everyday tasks like preparing simple meals, making beds, ironing, or shopping.
• Sitting down for a cuppa and a chat, because sometimes company can mean just as much as practical help.
• Being a familiar face who helps make each day a little easier and a little brighter.

You'll thrive in this role if you:
