Suncare Community Services is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant for a permanent part-time role on the Sunshine Coast. You will provide in-home support across Nambour and surrounding areas, helping clients with daily tasks and companionship.

The role focuses on maintaining independence and improving wellbeing, with an emphasis on compassionate, reliable, and respectful service in clients’ own homes.

What you will be doing

OurDomestic Assistantsput heart into everything they do - no two days look the same, but each one makes a difference.

We are offering a Permanent Part-Time opportunity (40 hours per fortnight) with a consistent roster. Let us know your availability and preferred working hours, and we’ll work with you to establish a set schedule. Our ideal roster is Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am to 2:00pm.

You’ll enjoy getting out into the community, providing in-home support to clients across the central Sunshine Coast and hinterland region. Servicing areas including Nambour, Woombye, Palmwoods, Maleny, Montville, Mapleton and surrounding communities, you'll play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence and wellbeing while living in their own homes.

• Helping keep someone's home feeling comfortable, whether that's tackling the laundry, cleaning the kitchen, or freshening up the bathroom.
• Lending a hand with everyday tasks like preparing simple meals, making beds, ironing, or shopping.
• Sitting down for a cuppa and a chat, because sometimes company can mean just as much as practical help.
• Being a familiar face who helps make each day a little easier and a little brighter.
