Job summary

d'Albora Marinas is looking for a casual Dockmaster to support operations across Nelson Bay, Soldiers Point and The Anchorage marinas in Port Stephens. You will assist boats into and out of the water, help with facility and grounds maintenance, and support marine tenants while upholding WHS policies and delivering premium customer service.

Weekend and public holiday work is required. A passion for the marine industry and reliable transport are beneficial for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a marine environment is essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of WHS policies and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery with concentration and safety.

About the role

We are currently looking for a casual Dockmaster to work across our three marinas in Port Stephens region (Nelson Bay, Soldiers Point and The Anchorage marinas). You will become a valued member of our team whose core focus is to ensure our customers experience a premium service here at our marinas.

This role offers variety and includes:

Assisting boats into and out of the water

Facility and grounds maintenance including cleaning

Assisting onsite marine related tenants with their requirements

To be successful in this role it isnecessaryto have:

Able to work weekends and Public Holidays.

Appropriate fitness and ability to concentrate while operating heavy machinery
