Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a reliable PM Dockhand for our Dry Creek, SA team in a permanent part-time role. You will load and unload freight, prepare shipments for dispatch, and assist with daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires forklift operation where needed, good attention to detail, and a collaborative approach with the operations team. The roster is Monday to Friday, with no weekend work, supporting a stable part-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or freight handling experience is preferred.
• Forklift licence or licence-desired for duties involving lifting.
• Desirable licences and IT skills support daily tasks and reporting.
• Good communication and teamwork to support operations and customers.

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and motivated PM Dockhand to join our Dry Creek SA team in permanent part-time position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 7:30pm

This hands-on role is responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, preparing shipments for dispatch, assisting with warehouse operations, and ensuring freight moves efficiently through the depot.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Sort, scan and prepare freight for dispatch
• Operate a forklift where required
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
• Complete freight scanning and warehouse documentation accurately
• Work closely with the operations team to meet daily service requirements
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required

What You'll Bring

• Previous warehouse or freight handling experience (preferred)
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• C Class drivers Licence (desirable)
• Intermediate computer skills
• Experience using Salesforce or similar systems (desirable)
• Ability to complete general administrative tasks
• Ability to support operational reporting and respond to customer enquiries
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude
