Job summary

Team Global Express (TGE) is seeking a reliable Driver / Dockhand to join our Air Freight team in Launceston. This full-time role offers an afternoon shift of 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 1:30pm–9:00pm and Friday 1:00pm–8:30pm.

You will handle local deliveries, loading/unloading freight, and forklift operation within a safe, efficient air freight operation. Ideal candidates have LF Forklift Licence, a willingness to obtain MR Licence, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• LF Forklift Licence is essential.
• MR Licence is desirable or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in driving, warehousing or freight preferred.
• Strong focus on safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete local deliveries and pickups.
• Load and unload freight.
• Operate a forklift.
• Assist with warehouse and dock duties.
• Prepare freight for air transport.
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks.
• Follow safety and aviation security procedures.
• Work as part of a busy team to meet daily deadlines.
