Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Moe is seeking a Qualified Motor Mechanic for maintenance of CFA appliances in a clean workshop environment. You will carry out preventative, corrective maintenance and approved modifications with all tools and PPE supplied.
The role is full-time and fixed-term for 12 months. You must hold a Motor Mechanic Qualification and a Heavy Rigid Licence, with First Aid Level 2 preferred or obtainable within CFA timeframes.

Are you a Qualified Motor Mechanic keen to secure an opportunity to carry out preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and approved modifications in a clean environment to well-maintained CFA appliances?
This full-time, fixed term vacancy will see you work in our Moe workshop with all tools and equipment supplied including uniform and PPE. The working hours are from 7:15am to 4:15pm Monday to Friday (with a 9-day fortnight).
Grade 1a District Mechanical Officers carry out mechanical tasks associated with the maintenance and servicing of fleet assets as directed by the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) ensuring relevant safety standards and CFA maintenance procedures are adhered to.
