Job summary

Zinfra is seeking experienced Transmission Lineworkers to join the Dandenong South depot, with a strong pipeline of work across Victoria. You will construct and maintain high-voltage lines, perform inspections and work safely as part of a crew on diverse projects.

Ideal candidates have a Certificate III in ESI - Transmission Overhead, a Victorian Transmission Lineworker Licence and a current Driver's Licence. Travel across Victoria is required; competitive hourly rates apply with allowances.

Qualifications

• Experience in transmission line construction and/or maintenance.
• Certificate III in ESI - Transmission Overhead.
• Victorian Transmission Lineworker Licence.
• High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogging, Rigger Advanced).
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• White Card.
• This role requires travel and working away from home across Victoria.
• Live Line Barehand qualification is highly regarded.
• First Aid certification is highly regarded.
• ESI Worker qualifications are highly regarded.

• Constructing and maintaining high-voltage transmission lines and associated infrastructure
• Carrying out network maintenance and inspections in line with quality and HSE requirements
• Safely climbing and working on transmission structures
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams and maps
• Operating plant, equipment and tools as required
• Working as part of a crew to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard

We’re looking for experienced Transmission Lineworkers

to join our team based out of our Dandenong South depot. With a strong pipeline of work across Victoria, we're growing our workforce and are seeking experienced Transmission Lineworkers to join our team.

$65.70 - $70.73 per hour + applicable allowances (Please note: Rates are current as of Sept 2026 and are subject to future increases in accordance with the Agreement: Zinfra Projects and Infrastructure (Zinfra Contracting Pty Ltd) - ETU Victorian Electricity Enterprise Agreement 2023. Remuneration is based on qualifications, experience and classification).
