Job summary

Zinfra in Warragul is looking for an experienced Distribution Lineworker to build and maintain electricity networks, ensuring reliable power for the community. You will interpret drawings, perform installation and maintenance, and respond to emergencies as part of a safety‑driven team.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III ESI in Distribution (or equivalent) is required.
  • Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence is required.
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle desirable) is preferred.
  • White/Blue card (OHS construction induction) is required.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and construction environments is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams and maps.
  • Undertake construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks in line with policies and procedures.
  • Emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets.

About the role

With our continued expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced Distribution Lineworker to join our team at the Warragul Depot. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and maintaining critical electricity distribution assets that keep communities powered and connected. Key Responsibilities include
  • Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps
  • Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
  • Emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets

About You
  • Hold a Certificate III ESI in Distribution or equivalent
  • Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence

  • Experience within an electrical maintenance and construction environment
