Job summary

Zinfra is seeking experienced Distribution Lineworkers for the Hume Depot in Canberra. You will build and maintain electricity distribution assets, interpret technical drawings, and support safety and efficiency across critical networks.

This permanent full-time role offers a safety‑focused team, 9‑day fortnight scheduling, and opportunities to work with modern trucks, EWPs, and ongoing training. Applicants should hold the required licences and a current White/Blue card, with a strong commitment

Qualifications

• Certificate III ESI in Distribution or Line Mechanic Distribution Level 4.
• Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence.
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable).
• White/Blue card (OHS construction induction card).
• Experience within an electrical maintenance and construction environment.
• Experience working in high-risk environments with a strong commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps
• Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution and/or transmission networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
• Emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets

About You

• Hold a Certificate III ESI in Distribution or Line Mechanic Distribution Level 4
