Job summary

Zinfra is seeking an experienced Glove & Barrier Line Worker to join our Cambridge team, constructing, installing and maintaining electricity distribution networks. You will study drawings, perform network construction and maintenance, and respond to emergencies in line with safety policies.

The role requires a current Tasmania Electrical Licence, glove & barrier qualification, a valid Australian drivers licence, and willingness to travel within the state and work outdoors in varied weather.

About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Glove & Barrier Line Worker to join our Cambridge team in constructing, installing, and maintaining our client’s distribution electricity networks. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively to ensure the network remains safe, reliable, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities include

• Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams

About You

The successful applicant will possess a strong technical knowledge and experience working on overhead and underground line networks as well as exposure to external best practice methods in a comparable environment.

• Hold a current Tasmania Electrical Licence
• Glove & Barrier qualified
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable)
• White/Blue card
• The incumbent may be required to travel within the state, including overnight or longer stays as required and will conduct work outdoors in various types of weather.
