Job summary

U&U Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Officer in Geelong to manage disputes from inception to resolution within the workers compensation space. This role involves collaborating with workers, employers, and internal teams to identify resolution opportunities and steer matters toward favorable outcomes.

The successful candidate will review claim histories, coordinate medical records and independent examinations, and represent the organisation at conciliation

Qualifications

• Experience in workers compensation, claims management, litigation or alternative dispute resolution.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with conciliation or dispute resolution processes.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• The confidence to manage complex and sometimes challenging conversations.

Responsibilities

• Working with workers, employers, representatives and internal stakeholders to identify resolution opportunities.
• Reviewing claim histories and assessing potential outcomes.
• Coordinating medical records, independent medical examinations and supporting documentation.
• Representing the organisation at conciliation conferences.
• Working closely with Case Managers and Legal Specialists on complex matters.
• Proactively identifying opportunities for early dispute resolution.
