Job summary

Star Discount Chemist Narangba, part of Star Pharmacy Group, is seeking a full-time or part-time Dispense Technician. You will support pharmacists, dispense prescriptions, and help maintain stock in a busy Australian dispensary.

Ideal candidates have dispensing experience or are ready to advance from a Pharmacy Assistant role. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and excellent customer service are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispensing or pharmacy assistance is desirable.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Organised, efficient and able to multitask in a fast-paced pharmacy.

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions.

About the Role

In this role, you will support our pharmacists and help ensure prescriptions are processed efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions
• Packing Dose Administration Aids (Webster packs)
• Providing product knowledge and assisting with customer enquiries
• Maintaining accurate customer records
• Processing orders and managing dispensary stock

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring:

Must have FULL working rights in Australia.

Highly Regarded

• Previous experience as a Dispense Technician or Webster Packer (preferred)
• Certificate III in Community Pharmacy
• S2/S3 Certificate
