Job summary

Star Discount Chemist Golden Beach in Queensland is seeking a part-time Pharmacist or Pharmacist in Charge to join our community-focused team. You will dispense accurately, provide consultations, and contribute to vaccination and health-check services.

This role offers training, mentoring, and a supportive team, with flexible Monday-Wednesday 8am-5:30pm, plus staff discounts and clear career pathways within the Star Pharmacy Group network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy and registered with AHPRA.
• Vaccination accreditation and current First Aid/CPR.
• Police check and working with children clearance.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Providing consultations and healthcare advice.
• Delivering vaccinations, medication reviews, and health checks.
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team and other healthcare professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Providing professional consultations and healthcare advice
• Delivering services such as vaccinations, medication reviews, and health checks
• Working collaboratively with the pharmacy team and other healthcare professionals

About You

You’re a motivated and customer-focused Pharmacist who is committed to community care. You’ll bring:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy and current AHPRA registration
• National Police Check and Working with Children Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Vaccination accreditation, with current First Aid and CPR (Must Have)
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-focused approach
• Must have availability to work Monday-Wednesday (negotiable) 8am-5.30pm
