Job summary

Chemist Discount Centre Warragul, part of Prime Pharmacy Group, is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our friendly team in Warragul.

You will assist with dispensing, prescription processing, Webster packing, and stock management, while delivering friendly, customer-focused service. Familiarity with Fred NXT Plus is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Has Dispensary Technician qualifications and/or relevant community pharmacy experience.
• Experience working in a busy dispensary environment.
• Experience using Fred NXT Plus software.
• Strong attention to detail and customer-focused.

• Assisting with the accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions.
• Receiving and processing prescriptions.
• Assisting with the supply of medications.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Assisting with Webster packing where required.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and compliant dispensary.
• Supporting stock management and replenishment.

Are you an experienced Dispensary Technician looking for your next opportunity?

Chemist Discount Centre Warragul is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Dispensary Technician to join our friendly and supportive team.

As part of Prime Pharmacy Group, you’ll be joining a growing pharmacy group with 23 stores, where we’re passionate about our people, our communities and providing quality healthcare. About Us

Located in the heart of Warragul, Chemist Discount Centre Warragul is proud to provide quality healthcare and pharmacy services to our local community seven days a week.

Our services include prescription dispensing, Webster packing, immunizations and a range of professional pharmacy services, all delivered with genuine care and a focus on our patients.

Our dispensary operates using Fred NXT Plus.

Trading Hours

• Monday to Friday: 9.00 am – 7.00 pm

• Saturday: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

• Sunday: 10.00 am – 3.00 pm

About the Role

As a Dispensary Technician, you’ll play an important role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the dispensary runs efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions

• Receiving and processing prescriptions

• Assisting with the supply of medications

• Providing friendly and professional customer service

• Assisting with Webster packing where required

• Maintaining a clean, organized and compliant dispensary

• Supporting stock management and replenishment

• Working closely with our pharmacists and wider pharmacy team

• Assisting with general pharmacy duties as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has Dispensary Technician qualifications and/or relevant community pharmacy experience

• Has experience working within a busy dispensary environment

• Is confident using pharmacy dispensing software, with Fred NXT Plus experience highly regarded

• Has excellent attention to detail

• Is friendly, approachable and customer focused

• Is reliable, organized and proactive

• Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Has strong communication skills and enjoys being part of a team
