Job summary

Erina Pharmacy is seeking a casual Dispensary Assistant to join our friendly team in NSW. This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible shifts that fit around study or other commitments, with weekend work available.

You will support pharmacists and dispensary staff in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, assisting with prescriptions, stock checks, labeling, and customer service while upholding high safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Previous dispensary experience essential.
• Weekend and some evenings rostered shifts required.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Help manage stock in the dispensary, including unpacking orders and checking for expiries.
• Package and label medications in accordance with pharmacy procedures.
• Provide friendly and helpful service to patients, answering basic queries or referring to pharmacists when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised dispensary and front-of-shop area as required.
