JBS Australia is the largest and most respected meat and food producer in Australia. We have a strong portfolio of leading and renowned beef, lamb, pork, salmon and value-added branded products, such as AMH, Swift, Primo, Murray Valley and Huon.

The JBS Cold Store facility is strategically located in Hemmant near the Port of Brisbane and employs approximately 140 people. Hemmant receives a high volume of truck and container loads of product from all the JBS sites around Australia, these are then re‑loaded for our domestic and international customer’ orders and readied for transport.

About the Role

Our Cold Stores facility (Hemmant) receives product from various JBS sites around Australia and processes a high volume of loads. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, we have several vacancies for Cold Stores Labourers to join our diverse team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.

We have the option of 3 different shift times:

• Day Shift - 6am to 2pm
• Afternoon Shift - 2pm to 10pm
• Night Shift - 10pm to 6am

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to a zero harm safety culture
• Ensure product integrity is maintained
• Checking andverification of paperwork
• Order preparation
• Loading & unloading containers
• Sorting product
