Job summary

JBS Dinmore in Queensland is hiring multiple Cold Store Labourers for full-time roles. Positions include General Labourers and Scanners with a standard rate of AU$28.43 per hour. Rosters run 4 days a week (Mon-Thu, rotating), with Day shifts 5am–3pm and Afternoon shifts 3pm–1am.

Applicants should have transport to site and may need to work in chilled environments. These roles require a willingness to learn, comply with WHS and QA programs, and to participate in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Experience in temperature-controlled environments (chiller/freezer).
• Experience with order picking and palletising.
• Willingness to work in a team and follow safety procedures.
• Willingness to receive a Q Fever vaccination.

About the Role

JBS Dinmore is currently recruiting several Cold Store Labourers to join the team in a full-time capacity. Some of the positions we are recruiting for include:

• General Labourers
• Scanners

The standard rate for this role is $28.43 per hour. Our lifestyle rosters run:

• 4 days a week
• Monday to Thursday | Rotating roster
• Day Shift | 5am to 3pm
• Afternoon Shift | 3pm to 1am

About You

We are interested in speaking with applicants that have an interest or experience in a position that involves manual handling, container loading and unloading, cold storage and warehousing. You will also have:

• Have access to reliable transport to travel safely to and from work
• Previous experience working in a temperature-controlled environment (chiller/freezer)
• Previous experience with order picking and palletising
• Previous experience with RF scanning advantageous
• Willingness to participate in a well-developed team environment from general labouring to highly skilled key positions
• Comply with, and contribute to, our highly developed WHS, Quality Assurance and Training programs
• Willingness to receive a Q Fever vaccination
