Job summary

Metrotrain in Melbourne invites an experienced Disaster Recovery Lead to join its Technology Division. You will develop and maintain disaster recovery and continuity frameworks to ensure rapid recovery of critical services across OT and IT, while aligning with franchise and regulatory requirements.

This permanent role is based at Collin Street and involves on-call roster participation, working with stakeholders from technical and non-technical backgrounds to improve resilience and testing

Qualifications

• Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, IT service management or risk.
• Ability to lead enterprise-wide disaster recovery programs.
• Strong understanding of RTO, RPO, BIA, and recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the organisation's Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity capability.
• Develop, maintain and test recovery plans for critical technology services and systems.
• Embed recovery requirements across operations, service management and project delivery.
• Coordinate disaster recovery exercises, tabletop and live testing.
• Identify and manage resilience risks, drive remediation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business, technology and third-party providers to strengthen recovery readiness.
• Provide expert advice on disaster recovery and recovery documentation.
• Deliver tabletop exercises and live testing to build organisational resilience.
• Monitor, report and improve recovery performance, compliance and testing outcomes.
