RGIT Australia seeks a confident Team Leader to guide multiple care staff teams in Kununurra, ensuring client-centered service delivery. The role combines hands-on leadership with compliance to policy, trauma-informed practice, and budgetary requirements.

You will coordinate with partners and maintain high-quality outcomes, supporting staff development while balancing operational priorities. A strong induction and ongoing training underpin the role.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Human Services or similar.
• Experience in residential care, youth work, disability, mental health, or community services.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within timeframes and quality standards.
• Experience working in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, Mentor and Manage your Support teams in line with ISA values and behaviours.
• Ensure delivery of program services in accordance with budgets and Business Plans.
• Deliver programs compliant with legislation, trauma-informed practice, contractual requirements and internal policy.
• Manage competing priorities while maintaining calm, effective leadership.
• Model a flexible, person-centered approach enabling choice and control with business needs.
• Oversee a caseload and Support team.

This role will be based in Kununurra, managing multiple teams of care staff.

Ideally you will have had experience providing direct care and have stepped up into a Supervisory or Leadership role looking for a new challenge. You have experience in providing exceptional care to People with Disability and experience supporting people with complex and diverse needssuch as:

• Complex Mental Health needs (Psychosocial Disability, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Schizophrenia).
• Health related support needs such as Diabetes, Wound Care and Asthma.
• Behaviours of Concern.
• Restrictive Practices

On Call: You will be part of an afterhours on-call roster.

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

• A qualification in Human Services or similar - noting applicants with considerable sector experience will be considered.
• Experience in residential care, youth work, disability, mental health, or community services.
• Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
• Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to support productive working relationships and manage staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
