Job summary

Zenitas Healthcare Pty in Tumut is seeking compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. You will help clients with daily activities, personal care, and community participation, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.

The role requires experience in disability or aged care, current First aid/CPR, and manual handling skills. Flexible shifts and ongoing training are offered to support your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with disability and aged care.
• Relevant qualification in disability or ageing support.
• Current First aid/CPR certificate.
• Manual handling experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily activities at home.
• Assist with hygiene and personal care.
• Support and accompany clients to activities outside the home.
• Assist with medication compliance as required.
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.

  We are looking for a Disability support worker to be a part of our team in Tumut.

  
  

  You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  
  
  
  
  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  
  
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  
  
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  
  
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  
  
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
  
  
  
  

  About you:

  
  
  
  
  • Experience with disability and aged support
  
  
  • Posses relevant qualifications in disability or ageing support
  
  
  • Hold current First aid/CPR
  
  
  • Manual handling experience

  Sunday 9am-11:30am (every fortnight)
