Job summary

Cootharinga in Townsville is seeking casual and permanent part-time Support Workers to help people live independently and participate in daily activities. No prior experience is required; we provide paid training and ongoing development.

Roles involve personal care, meals, mobility support, appointments, and community engagement. We welcome applicants across all schedules, with early mornings and night shifts available, in a supportive, person-centred team.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
• Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can help you get these).
• Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport.

Responsibilities

Job description

We’re looking for casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Townsville and surrounding suburbs to join our team. Whether you’ve done this before or you’re new and passionate about helping others — we’d love to hear from you.

What You Will Be Doing

No two days are the same — you’ll be supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.

This Could Include

• Personal care (showering, dressing, toileting)
• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks
• Supporting someone to get out into the community
• Attending appointments or social activities
• Medication support
• Assisting with mobility (including hoists where required)

Shifts available
