Job summary

Accord Care is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join a SIL home in Loganholme, QLD. You will provide person-centered support to help with daily living activities, personal care, and maintaining independence in a safe environment.

The role requires manual handling, CPAP experience (or willingness to learn), and appropriate certifications. Casual and part-time positions with competitive pay and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Manual handling and hoist experience are essential.
• CPAP setup and monitoring experience or willingness to learn.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support client with manual handling and hoist transfers safely.
• Assist with CPAP setup and monitoring.
• Assist with mobility and transfers following safe manual handling procedures.
• Help with household tasks (meal prep, cleaning, laundry).
• Encourage independence, participation, and community engagement.
