Job summary

Endeavour Foundation is seeking casual Disability Support Workers to join SIL homes in Cannonvale, QLD. You will provide person-centred support to assist individuals to live independently, with a mix of day, afternoon and sleepover shifts.

You will help with daily living skills, meal preparation, appointments and community activities while building trusting relationships and promoting choice and independence.

Qualifications

• Open availability, including sleepover shifts.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
• Hold or be willing to obtain Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid/CPR and National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work).
• Open Driver Licence and comprehensive vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support people to achieve NDIS goals and develop daily living skills.
• Provide personal care and support according to individual needs.
• Assist with meal planning, cooking and light housekeeping.
