Job summary

Endeavour Foundation invites applications for casual Disability Support Worker roles in Cannonvale, QLD. You will assist in SIL homes with daily living, personal care and community activities, fostering independence and meaningful choices.

Ideal candidates are calm, compassionate, and professional, capable of managing a range of needs and behaviours. Sleepovers, weekends, and day shifts are available, with full training and strong support networks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, afternoons, weekends, sleepovers and active overnight supports.
• Good computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook) and willingness to obtain checks.
• Open Driver Licence and comprehensive vehicle insurance are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support in SIL homes to help people live as independently as possible.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and light housekeeping.
• Support community participation, outings and social connections.
• Maintain dignity, safety and choice in daily routines.
