Life Without Barriers is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one home care in the Penrith area. The role requires availability for early mornings and late afternoons, with shifts split and travel between clients.

You will be reimbursed for kilometres travelled and shifts are paid at a minimum of two hours. The position involves high intensity daily personal activities, hoist transfers and daily living support, with emphasis on person-centred care and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience providing High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA).
• Previous experience supporting people with disability in a home care setting.
• Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care.
• Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Willing to complete basic household chores.
• Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care.

Responsabilités

• Provide High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (including complex bowel/catheter care).
• Assist with hoist transfers.
• Assistance with daily living (including personal care and domestic tasks).
• Maintain and monitor person-centred plans.
• Documenting and progress note keeping.
