Job summary

Healthscope Independence Services is seeking a passionate Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality care to clients under the NDIS. The role focuses on daily living support, personal care and community activities, ensuring compliance with policies and documentation.

Applicants should have a Certificate III/IV in Disability or related field, at least 1 year in disability/healthcare, and strong communication and organisational skills. Mount Macedon, VIC-based role with SCHADS‑level pay.

At the Healthscope Independence Services(HIS),we areseekinga passionate and experienced residential/ Attendant Care Support Worker to provide high‑quality support to our clients receiving Attendant Care services under the NDIS.

Classification: Level 2 – (Pay point will be determined based on experience andqualifications).

About theRole

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high‑quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them achieve their goals and live independently. You will work closely with our clients, supporting them with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement.

A typical day may include:

Provide personal care support in line with individual support plans

Assist participants with daily living activities in meal preparation and feeding.

Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, etc

Accompanying and supporting clients in community‑based activities, such as social outings, appointments, and recreational pursuits

Ensure all required documentation (including daily notes, communication and progress reports) is thorough and up to date.

Experience with behaviours of concern

Adhere to all organisational policies, including medication administration, WHS, client rights, privacy, and confidentiality.

To be considered for this role you will have:

Certificate III / IV in Disability, Community Services, or related qualification.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in disability or healthcare services is required.

Strong communication, written, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Flexibility to work across a range of shift types.
