Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist a person with disability in Chinchilla. The role is permanent part-time, with 1–2 days per week, 2–5 hours per shift, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

You will engage in activities the person enjoys, support goal achievement, and maintain accurate records. Ideal candidates will have disability experience, mobility support skills, strong communication, and a current First Aid/CPR certificate.

About the Role

Joining our team in Chinchilla, you will support a person with disability who accesses our community access services.

The person you will be supporting enjoys fishing, BBQ’s, movies and attending events and markets and is looking for a support worker who shares these interests and is passionate about active support.

You will join the team on a permanent part-time basis of 1–2-day shifts per week between 2-5 hours in length. There is flexibility in days worked Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
