Job summary

LME Care is seeking compassionate SIL Support Workers to help participants live their best lives in Supported Independent Living homes. You’ll be part of a team that encourages creativity, empathy and active participation in daily activities.

Ideal candidates hold Cert III in IDD or equivalent, have First Aid/CPR, a valid driver’s licence and NDIS experience. Training, support, and development opportunities are provided to help you thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Individual Disability Support or equivalent is required or you’re eager to learn and grow in the role.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are needed.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card) are required.
• Experience with the NDIS is preferred; training may be provided for MAYBO, Mental Health First Aid or Crisis intervention.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• You hold a Cert III in Individual Disability Support or equivalent, or are eager to learn and grow in the role
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• You have experience working within the NDIS
• Bonus if you have high medical care experience or training in MAYBO, Mental Health First Aid or Crisis intervention
