Job summary

Kanda seeks a Disability Support Worker on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. You will support participants with daily living, community access and health routines while following each plan and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in disability support, aged care or community services.
• Confident supporting participants with complex needs and behaviours of concern.
• Strong documentation, reporting and incident-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor newer team members.

Responsibilities

• Support personal care, daily living and household tasks.
• Assist with community access, social activities and employment goals.
• Support medication prompts and health routines as scope allows.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with participants and families.
• Document shift notes and follow each participant's support plan.
