Job summary

H1 Group is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to deliver high-quality direct care to clients living at home or in group homes with various disabilities. You will play a key role in assisting with ADLs, medication, and safe daily activities while building strong relationships with clients and their families.

The role requires experience with bowel and catheter care, BOC, and appropriate checks (NDIS, Police, First Aid/CPR) and a valid VIC Driver’s Licence.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Capable of picking up 3 shifts per week, ongoing.
• Manual handling and medication experience required.
• Experience with bowel and catheter care.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is compulsory.
• Current Police Check, First Aid and CPR certification.
• Full clean VIC driver's licence.
• Experience with BOC.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide manual handling and medication administration.
• Offer Community Access and emotional support.
• Support clients with behaviors of concern.
• Build rapport with clients and their families.
• Be proactive and dependable on shift.
