HomePlace Living Supports is seeking dedicated Support Workers to empower people with disability in Adelaide. The role involves person-centred active support, personal care, and community access across a 7-day roster including sleepovers.

We value compassion, reliability, and strong communication in a supportive, collaborative team. Essential qualifications include NDIS Screening, Cert III in Disability or Individual Support, First Aid and CPR, and COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

• Essential: NDIS Screening Check or willing to apply
• Essential: Cert III in Disability or Individual Support
• Essential: First Aid and CPR certificates
• NDIS Induction and Orientation Certificates
• Essential: 3 COVID vaccination doses
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Manual Handling training
• Desirable: experience in disability support and high level health care needs

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred active support to participants
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
• Support community access and inclusion
• Promote positive behaviours and skill development
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy
• Work 7-day roster including sleepovers
