Job summary
Workpro is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to assist clients in Mildura, Colignan and surrounding areas. The role offers casual/temporary shifts with flexible rosters and ongoing opportunities.
You will provide person-centred care, support daily living, mobility and community access, and complete progress notes in collaboration with the care team. Essential qualifications include a Certificate III in Individual Support or related field and current First Aid/CPR.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience.
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or related qualification.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance.
- Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification.
- Driver licence, reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required.
- Australian work rights.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred personal care and daily-living support
- Support safe manual handling, transfers and mobility
- Assist with medication and agreed care routines
- Support community access, appointments and participation
- Complete accurate progress notes and communicate with the care team
