Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Gladstone is seeking Disability Support Workers for permanent part-time and casual roles across L&L and SIL services. You’ll support people to live independently, attend community activities and work toward NDIS goals, with varied shifts including sleepovers.

You’ll join a values-driven team focused on person-centred support, building confidence and community connections while delivering tailored personal care and daily living assistance.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
• Availability across a range of shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR and National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work).
• Open Driver Licence and comprehensive vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support according to individual needs.
• Supporting meal planning, cooking and light household tasks.
• Facilitating community access, social activities and appointments.
• Supporting people to build independence, confidence and connections within their community.
• Following individual support plans and providing person-centred support.
• Building positive relationships with the people we support, their families and other stakeholders.
