Kanda is hiring a Disability Support Worker to assist a client in Essendon with in-home care. The role focuses on compassionate, reliable support to maintain independence and wellbeing, including ADLs, showering, grooming, respite care, light domestic tasks, and community access.

The position operates on a 24/7 rotating roster, requiring availability across all shifts. A vehicle, valid licence, police check, and working rights in Australia are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Community or Individual Care required.
• National Police Check issued within last 12 months.
• Proof of Australian working rights.
• Current Manual Handling, First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Minimum of two COVID-19 vaccinations.

We\'re looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Worker to support a client in Essendon.

In this rewarding role, you\'ll provide personalised, in-home care and support to help clients maintain their independence and wellbeing, while building genuine connections and making a positive difference every day.

Roster & Availability

This position operates on a 24/7 rotating roster. Candidates must be available to work across all shift types, including:

• AM: 0700-1400
• PM: 1400-2100
• Active Night: 2100-0700

A consistent, ongoing shift schedule will be provided.

Your duties may include:

• Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Showering and grooming support
• Respite care
• Light domestic assistance
• Community access

To be successful, you\'ll have:

• You hold a Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Community or Individual Care and have experience in a similar role
• A reliable, fully insured vehicle and a current driver\'s licence
• A National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
