Job summary

Melba Support Services invites applications for a Disability Support Worker (ISA) in a Part Time capacity. You will support people with disability to live meaningful, self-directed lives across a range of services and environments, including ISA and SIL, tailoring supports to individual goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to human rights, inclusion and person-led practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored disability support to promote independence and life skills.
• Assist with community, recreational, educational and employment-related activities.
• Provide personal care and daily living assistance when required.
• Support health and wellbeing, including medication assistance when authorized.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality, person-led support.
