MS Queensland is seeking Disability Support Workers to provide in-home and community-based care for individuals with high and complex support needs in Springfield. Afternoon and Awake Night Shifts are available, with a minimum 10 hours per fortnight and potential for more hours.

You will deliver person-centred care, assist with mobility, meals, medication support, and daily living tasks, following care plans and policies.

Formación

• Completed Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent.
• Current first aid and CPR certificates.
• Proven high/complex needs experience (24/7 or supported accommodation preferred).
• NDIS understanding with commitment to dignity and choice.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality personal care and daily living support (mobility, meals, domestic tasks).
• Support community access and meaningful participation to build independence.
• Provide medication support and assist with medical appointments as required.
• Deliver complex supports in line with care plans (catheter/bowel care, hoisting/transfers, PEG feeding, suctioning and more).
• Monitor wellbeing, document accurately, and escalate health/behaviour changes promptly.
• Maintain clear records and follow individual care plans and safe work practices.
