Job summary

Mindhelp is a registered NDIS provider delivering support to people with mental illness, complex behaviours and other disabilities across Melbourne & Geelong. We are seeking flexible Disability Support Workers who want to help participants achieve independence, stability and quality of life.

You will assist with daily living tasks, personal care and community access, following individual support plans. Shifts are on a casual basis across a 24/7 roster, including mornings, evenings, overnights

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Disability Support Work or similar qualification is desirable.
• NDIS worker screening check.
• Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
• Working with Children Check.
• Current first aid certificate & CPR (annual).
• Willingness to work across a 24/7 roster (including mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends).

Responsibilities

Disability Support Worker - Casual Position- Clyde

Mindhelp is a registered NDIS provider delivering support to people with mental illness, complex behaviours and other disabilities across Melbourne & Geelong.

We are seeking flexible and reliable Disability Support Workers who are passionate about supporting people to achieve greater independence, stability and quality of life.

In this role, you will support participants with activities of daily living, personal care, community access and the implementation of individual support plans. Applicants must be available to work across a 24/7 roster, including morning, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.

Mindhelp offers consistent and rewarding work, with participants matched to staff based on experience, skills, preferences and areas of interest. You will be supported by an experienced management and clinical team.

The hourly rate will be determined according to relevant qualifications, experience and applicable award conditions.

Mandatory Requirements:

A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support Work or a similar qualification is desirable. Additionally, students studying a Health Science-related degree are strongly encouraged to apply.
