Job summary

People of Peony is hiring a Disability Support Worker to provide individualised support to NDIS participants in a welcoming residential SIL home in Toowoomba.

You will assist with daily living, personal care and meal preparation, encourage independence, document progress, and work with families and health professionals.

This casual role offers flexible shifts across a 24/7 roster, ongoing training, and meaningful work where your contribution is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience providing disability support in aged care or community services.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and overnights.
• Commitment to respectful, person-centred support.

About you

• Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community services or a related field.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid driver's licence.
