Pathways to Better Living Pty Ltd – Banora Point NSW is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide personalised in-home and community-based support, helping participants to maintain independence and a meaningful quality of life.

You will follow individual plans, assist with daily living, personal care, meal prep, and community activities while ensuring safety and dignity for participants. Training, supervision and supportive management are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with people with disability, preferably in SIL or residential settings.
• A strong understanding of person-centred support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
• A calm and responsible approach, particularly when situations are challenging.

About you

• Good judgement and an understanding of professional boundaries
• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Confidence following support plans and established routines
• A genuine desire to build positive and respectful relationships with participants
• Previous disability support experience
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Relevant NDIS mandatory training
• Ability to obtain any other required checks or clearances
