Job summary

Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT is hiring Disability Support Workers to help people living with disabilities and aged care needs. You will provide person-centred care, work respectfully with clients, and be part of a team that values wellbeing and growth.

Roles available in Goulburn, Canberra, the South Coast, and Wagga, with options for casual, full-time, or part-time employment and access to training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent experience.
• NDIS Induction and related safety modules may be required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children clearance must be obtained.

Your Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to people with disabilities and/or aged‑care needs within Anglicare Disability Services. You will work respectfully and collaboratively to ensure each person receives the highest standard of care.

This role suits someone who is flexible, resilient, compassionate, and eager to learn. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills will help you thrive as you support clients both independently and alongside others.

What You Need

• Cert III in Individual Support (or relevant qualification), or experience supporting people with disabilities or aged‑care needs
• Willingness to complete Cert III study if required
• Completion of:
  • NDIS Quality, Safety and You module
  • New Worker - NDIS Induction
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children clearance
• Current Driver's Licence
• Access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle
